Surround Steps
Surround Steps provide a sturdy, space-saving way to enter and exit your hot tub. They are optional but require the purchase of at least one-quarter of a tub surround. You may pair your surround with fixed Surround Steps or use a separate movable Stair Kit instead.
Surround Steps rest on treated chine joist sections, like the hot tub itself, and attach directly to the hot tub wall with screws for added stability. Once installed, they are fixed in place and are not movable. Choose one set for a single entrance or two sets for a balanced, symmetrical appearance.
Choose the step height that matches your hot tub:
- For a 3-foot-tall hot tub, the lower step is 14½ inches high and the upper step is 26 inches high.
- For a 4-foot-tall hot tub, the lower step is 17 inches high and the upper step is 33 inches high.
Surround Steps integrate with the required one-quarter tub surround, and additional surround sections may be added to fit your design. They work with both wood-fired hot tubs and conventionally heated systems.
